Aviva Zeltzer-Zubida, Ph.D., was born in Moldova, grew up in Israel and completed her graduate work in the US.

After earning her doctorate in sociology at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York in 2004, Aviva taught at the Sociology Department of Brooklyn College and published scholarly articles on topics related to immigration, identity and social inequality.

Between 2008 and 2015, she served in several senior and executive roles as Director of Information, Planning and Evaluation, as Director of Research, Measurement and Evaluation, and as Chief Strategy Officer for the Jewish Agency for Israel, the largest global Jewish non-profit.

Since 2016, Aviva has engaged clients an independent researcher, evaluator and strategic consultant. Serving as a Senior Project Consultant with The Samuels Group, Aviva brings her considerable sociology knowledge and significant experience with Global NGOs, government ministries and complex social service programs to improving the impact of real world of programs and services. She thrives on contributing her in-depth understanding of designing organizational strategic needs in complex environments the present ever-changing realities and priorities.
